Swarovski Crystal Elements
I am loving swarovski crystal elements!! Swarovski beads are so much fun to bead with and are great for using in wire work. But my favourtit is the flatbacks. as pictured above.
They may not have a huge amount to do with beads, but they are so much fun to use in creating anything. I recently used the with opal ones in making a mask!!

Good bead store in Adelaide
Hello again, this is one of the best bead stores I have found in Adelaide:
http://www.cabeadle.com.au/
It's called Cabeadle, and they have walls and walls of beads, lots of Perls and cystals, it just goes on and on. It's located at the opposite end of Rundal street to Rundal Mall.

Mothers Day
Mothers Day is just this Sunday, and what a perfect opportunity to bead you mother a present!!! You could try beading something using the Peyote Stitch? I know I found the perfect top for my mum, and I am going to try and bead her something to match!!! It's a good and thoughtful gift, beading is a very useful talent to have when you can't think of anything to give anyone!!

The Peyote Stitch
I love the peyote stitch!
It is one of my favourite things to bead because you can make earring, bracelets, necklaces, pen covers, beaded pictures and pretty much anything you mind can come up with! It may look hard to do at first, but once you get the hang of it, you can do it really quick and easily. This website is probably the best I found when I was trying to learn to do it, so hopefully it will help you as well if you are wanting to learn to do it:

This picture is of a beaded pen that I did. I created the pattern myself, and it uses the tubular peyote stitch to make it. I recommend perfecting the flat peyote stitch before try tubular as it is slightly harder.
